At Brookfield Properties, we’re constantly shifting our tenant mix to add experiences that bring family and friends together, like the VIP movie theater brand CMX CinéBistro, which opened at Coastland Center in Naples, Florida in 2021 and recently unveiled another location at Tysons Galleria in McLean, Virginia. The luxury dinner-and-a-movie concept — part of the Miami-based CMX Cinemas chain — offers ultramodern screening technology and reserved recliner seating with footrests, swivel tables, and blankets, as well as in-seat drink and dining service. The intimate environment affords moviegoers the exclusive feeling of being in their very own screening room, albeit with top-notch service and superior cuisine and cocktails.
CMX Cinemas, which first opened its doors in April 2017 in Miami, offers three different movie-going experiences, including CMX Cinemas, an upgraded traditional theater experience with classic concessions; CMX Market, a gourmet “grab and go” movie experience; and CMX CinéBistro, the most elevated theater experience. The new Tysons Galleria theater marks the 11th CMX CinéBistro location in the country.
