Through January 3, 2025 | Brookfield Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto

LED sculptural snowflakes are hung in a lobby with white and brown stripes walls, marble floor and glass windows along one side.
Snowfall: Gust @studiofminus

The work is inspired by the architectural motif of the Allen Lambert Galleria, the geometry of a single snowflake, and the falling of snow through a gentle breeze.

To arrive at the design of Gust, artist-team Studio F Minus considered how the Y-shaped structural members in the Galleria were inspired by fractal patterns occurring in nature.

Gust is conceived in tandem with the artworks Frost in the Allen Lambert Galleria, and Flurry on the Concourse Level, to create a visual theme for the holiday season that stretches across all of Brookfield Place.
