Baljit is Executive Vice President, Head Operations and ESG of our India business, leading property management and all aspects of operations, maintenance, health, safety and sustainability across the portfolio. Baljit has over three decades of experience in managing operations of large commercial, residential, and institutional portfolios as well as shipping fleets.
Before joining Brookfield Properties, Baljit managed the integrated townships portfolio of a leading real estate company. He was responsible for the rollout of infrastructure services to support operations for ~2000 acres of townships and farmhouses.
Baljit holds a graduate degree in marine engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. He is also an IGBC Fellow (Indian Green Building Council), a member of the Indian Institution of Plant Engineers, a member of the National Safety Council and a professional member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
