Italian fashion empire Gucci, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary, has partnered with Brookfield Properties to bring its iconic vision to Oakbrook Center just outside of Chicago. The stunning 5,000-square-foot boutique features an orobico calacatta marble façade, marble polychrome inlays, herringbone wood flooring, and pink moire wall finishes. Showcasing a wide collection of men’s and women’s shoes, handbags, luggage, small leather goods, fashion and silver jewelry, watches, eyewear, and fragrances, the new Gucci store arrives as news that its revenues have risen to 17.7 billion euros in 2021, up by more than a third year over year.
