Clare is Senior Vice President of Finance at Brookfield Properties and oversees the finance team responsible for the Australian business’s service delivery. In this role, Clare is responsible for property accounting, development accounting, asset level FPP&A, lease reporting, finance systems and lease administration teams.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2016, Clare worked in London as the Chief Financial Officer of an AIM-listed oil and gas exploration and production company with projects in Africa and the former Soviet Union. She oversaw finance and procurement teams in Cameroon and also managed direct reports in Kazakhstan and London. In previous roles, Clare has headed up finance for an ASX-listed oil and gas R&D company and has worked in professional practice accounting. She is also a Director of the Youth Affairs Council of WA, holding the position of Treasurer, overseeing the Finance and Sustainability Subcommittee.
Clare qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) with Distinction from Curtin University where she graduated in 2004 as a member of the Vice Chancellor’s List (top 1% of undergraduate students).
