Janet Gu is Vice President of Retail Asset Management and Central Operations of our portfolio in China. She is responsible for driving excellence in operations across our portfolio while driving financial performance for our retail assets.

Janet joined Brookfield Properties in February 2020. Her professional journey includes managing multiple assets for renowned international retail developers such as Auchan and Sonae Sierra and the domestic giant, Wanda. Janet’s tenure at these esteemed organizations has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of retail asset management and operational optimization.

Janet holds a double master’s degree from the National University of Singapore and Fudan University and gained her CFA qualification in 2019.
