Jonathan Kramer is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group and an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the retail business at Brookfield Properties. In his role as a Managing Director, Jonathan is a senior member of the Investment Team responsible for the structuring, negotiation and execution of mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions within the retail sector. As EVP/General Counsel, Jonathan is, together with the other members of the leadership team, tasked with the management and commercial operations of the company’s retail estate business.

In 2011, Jonathan joined the company as a member of the commercial real estate investment legal team. He joined Brookfield’s Investment Team in 2018 and was responsible for transactions across all asset classes.

Jonathan holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University.
