Ellen Wei is Senior Director of Asset Management and Retail Leasing of our China business. She is responsible for overseeing all retail leasing across China and driving financial performance for retail assets.

Joining Brookfield Properties in 2021, she has over 17 years of experience in retail leasing and consulting across different tier-1 cities in China. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, Ellen was the Senior Director, Head of Retail at JLL, overseeing the retail team and acting as the key landlord representative. Ellen owns valuable experience in representative retail projects in China, including but not limited to China Xingtiandi, Shanghai L+Mall, Beijing Xidan Joy City, Sanlitun Village and Shenzhen Cocopark.

Ellen earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cyprus.
