Jason Maurer is an Executive Vice President for National Urban Retail at Brookfield Properties, responsible for overseeing the company’s retail investment and leasing platform across more than 3 million square feet of high street retail in key gateway cities across the country, with a concentration in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Denver and Washington DC.

Prior to joining Brookfield Properties in 2018, Jason led GGP’s national urban retail portfolio and spent twelve years in a variety of leadership positions in retail brokerage for Newmark Knight Frank Retail and Ripco Real Estate Corp. Jason received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
